A colorful adaptation of one of the greatest love stories set in traditional India. Romil, a charismatic playboy from Punjab, becomes a new student, and Jugal, a shy schoolmate, is the stage director for the school's version of Romeo and Juliet. From the very beginning, Jugal sees Romil as the perfect fit for the role of Romeo. As they get closer while working on the play, their on-stage romance turns into a real-life secret love affair.
However, things get complicated when their feuding families and the conservative society become aware of their relationship.
