SEASON 01

Dante Balestra is the new philosophy teacher at the Leonardo Da Vinci High School in Rome. He's returned after eight years of absence to be with his son Simone now that his ex-wife is about to move to Glasgow.

Simone struggles with his sexual identity and leaves his girlfriend without an explanation. The truth is he's in love with the "lost cause" of his class, Manuel. When Manuel gets in trouble, Simone risks his own life to protect him. Although Manuel is not gay, they spend the night together as lovers. 

Is this the beginning of a new adventure where Simone and Manuel discover the true meaning of love?

SEASON 02: SIMONE & MIMMO

Manuel and his mom, Anita, move into Simone's house.

A former student from Naples, Mimmo (Domenico Cuomo), is the new assistant at the school library. He's on probation at the local prison. Simone feels attracted to his new unlucky friend and tries to keep Mimmo away from trouble.

Love blossoms when Mimmo kisses Simone, but things don't go as planned.

SEASON 03: SIMONE & THOMAS

The third season follows Simone and his classmates as they transition into adulthood. Thomas, a childhood friend of Simone, is the new student in Professor Dante Balestra's class. On his first day, Thomas opens up about his feelings for Simone, but Simone is apprehensive about love, fearing he might get hurt again.
