Tony, who is a Mexican hothead and openly gay, previously dated Brad, but that relationship didn't work out. His boxing trainer, Caleb, asked him out on a date, and the two of them developed strong feelings for each other.

On the other hand, Alex (Miles Heizer) is struggling with his sexuality. After his suicide attempt and a long rehab, he became close to his friend Zach. Alex explored his sexuality and took the chance to kiss his best friend Zach.
